Token Utility & Payment Model for AI Features

SynthFi isn’t just a tool, it’s a token-powered protocol that tightly integrates utility and economic incentives around the $SYNTHFI token.

Why Token Gating?

AI is a powerful and resource-intensive feature. By requiring $SYNTHFI to access these tools, we:

  • Protect from spam and abuse

  • Incentivize holding the token

  • Create demand tied directly to real usage

  • Enable deeper governance over AI evolution

Payment Structure

Users pay in $SYNTHFI to unlock AI-related functions. This applies to both builders and end users, depending on how the protocol is used.

AI Feature Costs

Each AI-powered interaction has a token cost that can be configured by the protocol or the project creator.

Feature
Example Cost

AI code generation

100 tokens

AI logic suggestions

50 tokens

AI audit / simulation

150 tokens

Governance agent setup

200 tokens

Real-time protocol assistant prompt

5–10 tokens per prompt

Tokenomics simulation / optimization

120 tokens

AI integration setup on launch

$50 worth of $SYNTHFI upfront

🛠️ Note: Token costs may vary based on usage tier, user role, or DAO governance voting.

Pay-To-Enable AI Integration

When a builder chooses to enable AI integration during the Launchpad flow, they’ll be prompted to pay a flat fee, e.g.:

💰 Pay $50 worth of $SYNTHFI to unlock AI integration

This one-time fee unlocks the full suite of intelligent features for that project.

🌐 Optional Micropayments

Projects can also choose to require their users to spend $SYNTHFI to access certain AI tools on their frontend. This turns AI into:

  • A monetizable protocol utility

  • A token sink (removing tokens from circulation)

  • A source of recurring revenue

Revenue Flow

  • Fees go into the SynthFi treasury

  • Some may be burned (deflationary)

  • Others may be redistributed to stakers or used to fund further AI development

Governance Over AI Economics

Token holders can vote on:

  • How much AI features cost

  • Whether to enable/disable new features

  • Revenue split parameters

  • AI model upgrades and training priorities

Future Add-ons

  • Tiered subscriptions (e.g., “SynthFi Pro” for power users)

  • Usage analytics dashboards

  • On-chain affiliate referrals for AI-powered protocols
